Disney's MULAN JR. is a heartwarming celebration of culture, honor and a fighting spirit. The score includes favorites like “Reflection,” “Honor to Us All” and “I’ll Make a Man Out of You” as well as new songs that will get audience members young and old on their feet! Presented by our multi-award-winning Off Broadway Kids Musical Theatre Troupe, this is one performance on Mulan that you won't want to miss! The Off Broadway Children's Theatre is pleased to announce auditions for "The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley." We wil be casting actors/singers/dancers from ages 8-17. Auditions will be February 4, from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm. This is a going to be a popular show, especially with the teens; excitement has been building ever since we saw its debut at the Junior Theatre Festival in 2010. Audition spots will fill up quickly. Email us now to to schedule your audition. Auditionees should prepare 18 bars of a musical theatre selection and come prepared to learn a short dance. (Note: bring music) There will also be a cold reading. If cast, there is a $185 production fee. The show performs April 20-29, 2012.
CONGRATULATIONS ANNIE CAST MEMBERS Congratulations to two of our OBD Kids alumni for being cast in the Theatre of the Stars production of "Annie" at the Fox Theatre. Lucy Tschetter-Gaus and Alex Langlais join a long list of our Off Broadway Kids Musical Theatre Troupe members who have been selected for shows at the Fox (and beyond), including Barrett Crowder; Aspen Countryman; Olivia Medley; Ben Hepburn; Kimberly Maxwell; Emma Dowdy; Indigo Crandall and Chase Crandell. We are very excited as we will get to see these talented young ladies perform as part of the Junior Theatre Festival this January. You can bet we'll be there cheering wildly for Lucy and Alex!
