Off Broadway Dance Theatre is home
to the “Off Broadway Kids Musical Theatre Troupe,”
“Off Broadway Children’s Theatre” and the Off
Broadway Dance Center. We believe all students should have a chance
to “shine.” Our students are given the opportunity
and are encouraged to explore singing, dancing and acting and
experience all facets of the performing arts. With an emphasis
on Musical Theatre, Off Broadway Dance Theatre not only offers
traditional dance instruction, but we also offer Acting, Musical
Theatre, Broadway Movement and other theatre based classes. This
helps each student be the best performer he or she can be whether
it is in a school drama or professional theatre. Off Broadway
students walk away from our studios with a knowledge and appreciation
for set building, costume design, theatrical production, learn
great songs from the Broadway classics, play wonderful characters,
learn variations from timeless Ballets and most of all have a
greater self confidence and sense of self worth.
"Three
different acting, dancing and performing needs....
all of which were met at Off Broadway Dance!
The Holiday
Show will amaze you! It is more than a dance recital...it is
a full musical theatre production!"
Tana Wagner
Our studio prides itself on being a place where
every child gets an equal chance. No parts are given based on
seniority or how many classes a child takes, performing opportunities
are given to everyone who shows an interest. Every student is
a “Star” in our studio. We are the proud home to the
award winning “Off Broadway Kids” musical theatre
troupe. These children compete annually in regional and national
musical theatre competitions as well as have a variety of local
performances for educational outreach. This troupe is open to
children ages 10-18 who love to sing, dance and act.
My 8 year old daughter has been a student at Off Broadway since she was three. They have always provided a warm, fun, caring environment. The variety of dance and theatre programs has given her a wide path to learn and grow as she follows her dreams.

Off Broadway is also the home of “Off Broadway
Children’s Theatre,” a theatrical company which produces
family classics throughout the year. These productions are presented
by children for children with an abundance of audience participation
to delight even the youngest viewer. This troupe is open to all
students who range in ages 6-18. We also feature the “Off
Broadway Dance Competition Team.” This is a group of Jazz
dancers ages 13-18 who have desire to compete in regional and
national dance competitions.
All of Off Broadway Dance Center’s Ballet
Classes are offered on a “Leveling” System where a
child is placed based on ability as opposed to age group. This
ensures the proper caliber of instruction they deserve. We also
offer a large variety of Tap and Jazz classes to meet your family’s
needs.
"I highly recommend Off Broadway Dance Studio! My daughter started taking the Preschool Ballet/Tap Combo Class at age 3. Ms. Julia is an awesome preschool instructor! She makes learning the dance techniques and vocabulary fun and exciting. I was so pleased with my daughter’s performance as well as the other students during the spring recital. Thanks, Off Broadway!"
