THE 2010-2011 CAST OF THE OBD KIDS

Congratulations to The Off Broadway Kids for their amazing performance at the "National Performing Arts Festival" in Orlando. The Kids won the Judges' Award for Best Performance, received a Superior Rating - AND - were asked to perform a number at Downtown Disney! Normally just one group is chosen to perform at Disney, but the judges extended an invitation for us to perform in addition to receiving the Judges Award, which thrilled us to no end!

This makes three years in a row and four straight Orlando competitions where the OBD Kids have won big! The 2009-2010 cast of "Seussical," the 2008-2009 cast of "Once on This Island" and the 2006-2007 cast and "Godspell" were also Judges and Showcase Award winners!!

Special congrats to Barrett Crowder (as Aladdin), Anu Romesh (as Jasmine), Owen Smith (as The Genie), and Alexandra Langlais (Ensemble) for winning individual awards for "Outstanding Performance by an Actor/Actress." Mom, Jennifer Crowder was also awarded for her excellence in Costume Design!
