This camp is for the older child, ages 5-7. Most will have had an introduction to some form of performing arts and this expands on what they already know. This camp includes the following:

- Snack Time
- Last Day of Class Showcase for Parents

Juniors

This camp is for ages 8-10. It is designed to enhance a child’s growth as a performer, and is strongly recommended that there is previous dance experience. This camp includes the following:
- Ballet
- Tap
- Jazz - Lyrical, Hip Hop, Broadway
- Last Day Showcase for Parents

Preteens/Teens

A Continuation of yearly study in the performing arts. Students use these camps as weeks to have a more intensive study. Camps include the following:
- Ballet/Pointe
- Jazz-Lyrical, Hip Hop, Broadway
- Modern

Theatre Camps
Summer Stock
(July 14 - July 25, 2008)
10am - 3pm
Ages 8 - 17
Join our experienced staff as they guide you through a journey of the summer stock theatrical experience. In the morning, performers will participate in master classes for Audition technique, Movement for the Actor, Musical Theatre Dance and Acting Styles, Voice for Music and Speech, Scenic Artistry, Set Design and Acting for the Camera. Then, it’s rehearsals in the afternoon for “Aladdin Jr.” a full scale production to be presented in 2 public performances.
Cost:$475.00
(Students bring sack lunch, snacks and drinks provided)

Off Broadway Performance Camps
1pm - 5pm
Ages 8-17
The curtain is going up on a summer filled with the magic of theater! Off Broadway offers a total theater immersion experience. Do you dream of standing in the spotlight, of seeing yourself on television or in the movies, of hearing the applause of an audience? Imagine yourself sharing your dreams with kids just like you who love theater and the performing arts! You will perform because everyone is cast in a show. You will learn from Directors, Choreographers, and Vocal Coaches who have been selected because of their years of experience motivating and guiding young performers. These week long camps learn excerpts from Broadway Shows, make their sets, and put on a full scale public performance at the end of each week.

Week 2: June 23-27 (Ages 13-19) Rent – School Edition
Week 3: July 7-11 (Ages 5-9) Mary Poppins, Little Mermaid

Class Descriptions:
PS Combo 1,2,3-A Wonderful Introduction to Dance!
A program designed for pre-schoolers to experience the dance
studio atmosphere while having the freedom to express their
creativity through songs, rhythm, props and movement. A ballet
class designed specifically for pre-school children, including
basic floor stretches, the eight basic movements of dance and
positions of the feet and arms. PS Combo 1,2 offers an introduction
to tap for pre-school children. Classes are created to increase
fine motor skills, musical awareness and basic tap sounds to
later build upon.
Lyrical -
Lyrical An expressive yet technically challenging form of dance
that combines ballet, jazz and modern dance styles.
HH - Hip Hop -
Move and groove to your favorite music while learning the newest
video dance steps.
Jazz
Our most popular form of dance, using your favorite music to
create a high-energy class! We cover the newest hip-hop and
funk moves from L.A. and New York. We also introduce Broadway
music and Musical Theatre jazz.
Ballet
Do you love to watch The Nutcracker, Swan Lake and Sleeping
Beauty? Ballet improves grace, coordination and confidence.
Learn ballet technique and strive to one day dance in pointe
shoes.
Tap
"Making music with your feet." This class is taught
to popular, upbeat music. Improve your rhythm and musicality
learning time steps, "shuffle off to Buffalo," and
the "Maxiford."
Modern
Introduction to the many forms of modern dance such as the Graham
technique.
Classes for grades 1-12 are divided
by age and level. If you are coming out of our pre-school program,
you will begin in Level 1 and progress through the levels below.
Where noted ** there may be a Level 1 class for older dancers.
You may only move up an extra level with a teacher's recommendation.
Often in ballet, students are asked to repeat a level because
the technique is extremely challenging.
